The generosity extended to its local hospital by the community of Mudgee allowed us to purchase ALL the items of medical equipment on Mudgee Hospital's Wish List.
And thanks to the extended additional support of Moolarben Coal, who sponsored it outright, the Infinity Vision System for opthalmic procedures is included!
Please join us on Saturday May 17 for tours of Mudgee Hospital, where you can see all the equipment we were able to buy.
Enjoy a sausage sizzle with us, too, for a gold coin donation to the hospital.
2MG/RealFM's Mel and Basso will broadcast live from Mudgee Hospital foyer. Call by, say hi!MORE DETAILS.

Australians for Australia Foundation. Making hospitals better. All around Australia.
An all inclusive, multi-cultural medical charity for everyone.
Let's support our hospitals.
100% of money raised for the AFA Foundation's Wish List of medical equipment is spent on medical equipment.
All Australians. All Hospitals. All Better.
All hospitals aren’t created equal.
For some Australians, this means a lot of angst.
Get involved. Let's start making our hospitals better.
Come on, Australia. Let's make our hospitals better. For all of us.
Together, we can change things. We can help our local hospitals get better by helping them get the equipment they need.
It is a fact in Australia today, many hospitals simply do not have the medical resources and specialist equipment needed to meet the requirements of all patients. This results in many people travelling long distances to receive necessary treatment, at times when they are vulnerable and traumatised by illness or injury. There are also many Australians in need of equipment to allow them to be cared for in their homes.
Most of us don’t recognise or acknowledge this until the truth confronts us. We may hear from time to time on news reports about long hospital waiting lists or horror stories of people shunted from one hospital to another in search of appropriate treatment and care. We assume our governments will ‘fix it’ but sadly - tragically for some - nothing changes.
At Australians for Australia Foundation, our goal is to assist as many hospitals as we can in reaching optimum levels of medical equipment. Equipment to ensure patients receive the treatment they need, when they need it and where they need it.
It’s a lofty goal but we believe it is achievable. Australians have waited long enough for governments to make things right. Now it's time to recognise that charity begins at home and in our hospitals.
Hospitals may not be created equal but people are.
We believe it is self-evident that regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, age, gender, marital status, personal preferences, material advantage, political persuasion, place of residence, place of birth, medical condition ... we are all entitled as Australians living in Australia to have equal access to the best medical care. Right now, it isn't happening. We believe it should be.
There is nothing more important to each of us than our health. Without it, no advantage in life is worth much.
